Magic and Illusion Student Team

MIST holds weekly meetings to teach its members the art of performing magic. We routinely perform for various UCLA organizations and many community service events. Members will also have the opportunity to apply to be volunteers at Ronald Reagan Medical Center, where they will perform magic weekly. In addition, we have professional magicians give lectures at the end of each month. We also hold friendly, quarterly competitions where magicians compete to win prizes.

Society of Women Engineers @ UCLA

The Society of Women Engineers is a national society that has been encouraging all individuals to aspire, advance, and achieve their full potential in the fields of engineering and science. As a collegiate chapter, we are devoted to providing our members with industry networking, technical workshops and opportunities, outreach activities, mentorship, community service, diversity and inclusion events, and social events. Our UCLA chapter is one of the strongest engineering organizations, recognized both locally and nationally. We have received the Student Group of the Year award at UCLA in 2005, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2021 and were recognized as an SWE Mission Gold Award recipient at the national WE22 Conference.

Art History Undergraduate Student Association

The Art History Undergraduate Student Association (AHUSA) is an organization that provides extracurricular enrichment in the field of Art History to majors and non-majors. In addition, AHUSA hopes to create a sense of community among students and serve as a vital link between faculty and students. AHUSA hosts events throughout the year including museum and gallery trips, guest speakers, and association meetings. Fashion and Students Trends

FAST (Fashion and Student Trends) is UCLA’s first and only fashion club. Founded in 2001, FAST is the epicenter for all things related to fashion and the fashion industry at UCLA. As UCLA does not offer a fashion design major or minor, our club enables young talents to showcase their work at our annual industry level Spring runway show in Pauley Pavilion (with an audience of over 500 guests and industry professionals!). Since there are many aspects to planning a successful runway show, FAST provides first-hand experience in design, modeling, finance, budgeting, event planning, public relations, marketing, editorial, creative directing, and production. In addition, we host various career-building events, workshops, photoshoots, networking nights, and other fashion-related events throughout the school year. Some events are for our members only, but a majority are open to the general campus. With 13 different committees, there is opportunity for everyone to explore their personal creativity, culture, and fashion sense through FAST at UCLA.

On That Note A Cappella

On That Note a cappella.. is a performance-based a cappella ensemble at UCLA founded to provide a community for those with a passion for music. ​ Our mission is to create music to share with and inspire our community, all while having tons of fun and fostering life-long friendships. On That Note is a creative outlet where students of all different majors and interests come together to support each other in learning and performing music. As such, we strongly welcome all singing experience levels, majors, domestic and international students alike, and would love to hear you sing or beatbox at auditions! We hold quarterly concerts and are frequently featured at campus and local performances and events. Auditions typically take place during the first two weeks of Fall Quarter, and occasionally in Winter Quarter depending on group needs. Relevant audition information will be posted on here, Facebook, and Instagram during those times!

Arab American Association of Engineers and Architects

The UCLA student chapter of the Arab American Association of Engineers and Architects (AAAEA), founded in 2015, is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious, professional association dedicated to help, strengthen, empower, and inspire its members to achieve excellence. AAAEA promotes and advocates for the Arab American Engineers, Architects and Computer Science professionals in North America by hosting career and educational enhancement programs, technical exchange, fellowship, and community service. In our pursuit of creating a more interactive and engaging professional and academic experience at UCLA, we will be putting on a variety of events, including: Company Info Sessions and Tours, Semi Annual Meetings with other chapters across the nation, Community Educational Programs, Internship Application Building Sessions, and Scholarship Awards.

American Society of Civil Engineers

The American Society of Engineers Student Chapter at UCLA (ASCE at UCLA) is a student run organization primarily interested in developing the young engineer with an emphasis in civil engineering. The organization competes in ten major design projects and two community service based project, and programs a wide variety of events including career fairs, professional development workshops, speakers, mentorship opportunities, field trips, intramural sports, and social functions. ASCE at UCLA consists of student members with a wide variety of backgrounds and academic levels, and often students from outside the major even join the group to take advantage of the many opportunities that ASCE membership can provide. The underlying goal of the student chapter's leadership team is to foster an environment that not only promotes engineering skills and professional development, but also helps to build the foundation for strong and enduring friendships for years to come. Since being chartered in 1959, UCLA's ASCE Student Chapter has grown into an active student-run organization that strives to promote the professional development of civil engineering students through curriculum-enriching activities.

A Moment of Magic at UCLA is a club dedicated to enhance mental health of vulnerable and underserved children by making visits to hospitals and social service institutions in character costumes and fundraising for A Moment of Magic national events. We wish to inspire the children to be brave, strong, and fearless.

Artreach at UCLA

Artreach at UCLA provides marginalized and disadvantaged communities outlets for art appreciation and creation. Our club strives to use the power of art to inspire, unite, and mentally relieve underserved groups such as children with chronic illnesses, veterans, and at-risk youth. By volunteering as mentors, UCLA students can engage with the arts and a diverse range of communities within the LA county area. Together, Artreach members prepare and direct workshops that create a supportive environment in which participants can explore their creativity, learn various mediums of art, and arrive at greater understandings of themselves and society. Any artists, art enthusiasts, or students interested in this type of outreach are welcome to facilitate lessons or apply to be a class instructor. Program mediums may include—but are not limited to— drawing, painting, photography, sculpting, collaging, music, dance, creative writing, or poetry. We do not require any experience but only a positive attitude!

Bruin Shelter

Bruin Shelter is a volunteer-run homeless shelter for students experiencing homelessness. Our mission is to (1) provide fellow students experiencing homelessness with a safe and supportive environment, the basic necessities they deserve, the opportunity to invest in their education, and a place to call home, (2) empower shelter volunteers to become social justice leaders, philanthropists, and innovators, and (3) be an open-source model for other universities to create student-run shelters.

Association of Chinese Americans

Officially founded in 1982, the Association of Chinese Americans (ACA) is one of the largest student-run organizations on the UCLA campus today, with well over 500 members each year. We are a student group involved in cultural, social, community, and political projects, which benefit its members, campus, and community. Our programs are primarily geared toward the unique multi-cultural identity of Chinese Americans striving to understand their heritage, history, and experiences. Through our events and presence on campus, we hope to provide students with a place to connect with each other, educate and raise awareness about Chinese American biculturality, and strengthen our community beyond UCLA. We welcome UCLA undergrads, grad students, and alumni. We have informative and thought-provoking bi-quarterly general meetings and weekly fun-filled events.

The Backpacking Club is an inclusive community of outgoing and adventurous people who enjoy exploring the outdoors, love nature, and are dedicated to environmental stewardship. We run backpacking and camping trips into the great outdoors most weekends during the quarter so come join us and meet some amazing and beautiful people to share the outdoors with! ​ Experience the outdoors without restrictions!

An organization where students can get together and play various types of billiards/pool within the school's recreational facilities, such as De Neve Recreation and Rieber's Study Rooms. Simply said, we chill, we play billiards, and we have fun.

Bruin Club Tennis

Club Tennis offers a space to all students who want to play tennis, no matter the skill level! Bruin Club Tennis is composed of two parts: a general club and a competitive team. Our general club is open to any and all UCLA students, faculty, and alum and is a great way for Bruins to meet new people while having a workout. During the year, we put on a number of events, from a beach bonfire to KBBQ to Indian Wells. Practices are 9-11pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The second half of BCT is the competitive team--- our traveling team who are the reigning national champions! Our competitive team practices just before general club and competes in tournaments throughout the year up and down California against some of the best collegiate club teams in the country in preparation for the national championship. Practices are 7-9pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The UCLA ASME student chapter is a technical, professional, and social organization dedicated to fostering engineering skills, professional development, and connecting students. We are a part of the global American Society of Mechanical Engineers. ​ The UCLA charter expands on the ideas put forth by our mother organization by providing events and resources that are aimed to college students and are easily available to students at UCLA.
